Hello and welcome to my first edition of the StacyMarieKeibler.com column! I will try my best to make this a weekly thing from this point forward, and even if new columns aren't posted exactly a week apart, it should be within the range.

Stacy fans are well aware of the fact that our favorite diva is no stranger to being misused. With the onslaught of new divas arriving to Raw in the past year (like Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle, and Diva Search winner Christy Hemme), Stacy was unfairly given less and less airtime. After her shortlived on-air relationship with Randy Orton came to an abrupt end, Stacy practically disappeared from WWE television.

For the past few weeks, we have seen Stacy teamed up with Hurricane and Rosey, as their superhero sidekick of sorts. New friends, new costume, new character... what does this mean for Stacy? While there are no guarantees that the alliance will last (WWE did attempt this same angle before, but quickly sent it to the cutting boards), it does seem that WWE is putting at least some effort into it. For the first time in a long while, Stacy has a true angle to follow.

But is this angle right for her? While some fans have lovingly dubbed her new character 'Super Stacy,' there are still others skeptical of the new direction. Personally, I feel she could have been given a much better angle.

I will admit that I was open to the gimmick when it began - the costume is a surefire sign that 'Super Stacy' should be around for some time. Once Hurricane and Rosey won the Tag Team Championship belts, it seemed certain that the three would remain a fixture on Raw - which meant Stacy would finally be in the spotlight. However, the group quickly faded to Sunday Night Heat.

Some optimistic fans are accepting of this, even adding 'Stacy Night Heat' to the list of clever, Stacy-related nicknames. Her, she's getting TV time, right? Wrong. Stacy Keibler, when given the opportunity to show her skills, is one of the best valets in the company. As valet for Rosey and Hurricane, she has merely stood at ringside - no involvement whatsoever. To quote Shane Helms, "Wassupwitdat?!" It is clear that the creative team cannot come up with a decent angle for her, so they handed her a mask and sent her to the ring to appease the fans demanding to see Stacy.

Maybe it's my ever-skeptical side getting the best of me, but I cannot help but feel that even with the new gimmick, Stacy is being cheated. We've all seen what she is capable of doing, and if anything, this is only restraining - not helping - her. Hopefully, once the draft lottery comes to an end and the rosters settle down, WWE will allow 'Super Stacy' and her new friends a chance to really shine.
