Dangerous Mind: Stacy Keibler's Greatest Asset May be the One Between her Ears By Seth Mates Her long, flowing blonde hair dances in the wind. Her big, brown eyes paralyze you, making you feel like you and she are the only two people eart. Her smile invites you closer. Time seems to stand still as your gaze moves up and down her incredible 41-inch legs. You sigh heavily, wondering how a higher being could have ever imagined such a heavenly creature as Stacy Keibler. You can't take your eyes offher--you don't want to either. There's something about her that makes men submissive. Whatever she wants, you'll do; her wish is your command. You live to serve her, to make her happy--and that's just how she likes it. If looks could kill, Stacy Keibler would be deadly. But the most lethal thing about Stacy isn't her pretty face, her slender physique, or even her spectaucalr legs. In fact, it's something you can't even see--it's her mind. "Everyone knows me for my legs and my butt, but I have a few more tricks up my sleeve," Stacy smiles. "People look at me and see my blonde hair and pretty face, and don't think I have any brains, which isn't the case. Before I got here, I was a full-time college student on scholarship, and I maintained a very good grade-point average." As Stacy looks to climb the WWE ladder with those lengthy legs of hers, she does so by putting her brain ito overdive. "Guys look at me and see all my physical assets, but I would say that my mental assets are what will take me straight to the top," Stacy smiles. "There are lots of girls out there with nice bodies, not as nice as mine, of course. But I've also got the brains to make me a double threat. And I can use that unique combination of beauty and braings to manipulate, scheme and plot my way right to the top." For over a year, Stacy has been wowoing WWE fans with her incredible mix of beauty, style and athleticism. Fans were hard-pressed to turn away from their TVs as she competed in such contests as Bra & Panties Match at Invasion, a Lingerie Match at Unforgiven, a Gravy Bowl Match on the Thanksgiving episode of SmackDown!, and an Egg-nog Match on the Christmas episode of Raw. "That's what the fans wanted, so that's what I did," she says. "Those matches allowed me to get my foot in the door with the WWE. But as good as I look in a bra and panties, and in bikinies and lingerie, I'm even more devastating when there's money and power on the line." After first drawing the fans' attention with those memorable encounters, Stacy said she had an epiphany one fateful night this past spring. It was on the March 18 edition of Raw, and Stacy was set to lead her duo of the Dudley Boyz into a Tag Team Championship clash against reigning titleholders Billy & Chuck. Clad in her customary camouflage outfit, the Duchess of Dudleyville accompanied Bubba ray and D-Von to ringside, hoping to lead them to a seventh Tag Team crown. As the fight wore on, an excitable Stacy let her emotions get the best of her, and she soon got the Dudleyz disqualified. Infuritaed by her actions, D-Von grabbed stacy and handed her to Bubba, who jumped from the top rope and savagely powerbombed her through a table, unceremoniously ending their affliation. As she lay motionless and in pain among the shattered shards of wood, Stacy had a revelation. Up to this point, sports-entertainment had been all fun and games for her--hearing the crowd roar as she flashed her smile, flipped her hair or simply displayed her legs. But now, she had realized the cold, hard truth: To make it in this world, she would have to toughen up--not just physically, but mentally as well. It was time for Stacy to smarten up. "Those bullies thought they put Stacy Keibler out of the game, saying I was the weak link in the Dudley Boyz," she says. "Well, three weeks later, I hooked up with Vince McMahon, and they weren't even together anymore. So who's the weak link now?" Indeed, when Stacy got the job as Mr. MCMahon's personal assistant in April, it cemented one of the most impressive rises to power in this organization's history. In the span of a few months, Stacy had gone from being a wide-eyed newcomer to seconding the most powerful man in the history of sports-entertainment. "I don't settle for mediocrity," she says. "Mr. McMahon and I have a lot in common--we're both power-hungry, goal-driven individuals who combine intelligence and good looks in a total package. So it was only natural that we pool our resources to take the business to a whole new level. "I was look for someone who could keep up with my pace, someone who wantes to be on top of the world at any cost. And who exemplifies that better than Mr. McMahon? It was a perfect match." Stacy says she's okay with the fact that people might view her as just another pretty face. In fact, she welcomes that misguided mindset. "Let them underestimate me," she says, "because I'll just make them regret it later. People think you can't be beautiful and have a good head on your shoulders. Well, those people couldn't be more wrong. I can outthink, outmaneuver and outfox anyone. I'm the devil in an angel's body." She says that her looks and charm allow her to manipulate anyone and everyone. "Guys are suckers for a pretty face," Stacy says. "Heck, so are girls. I've used my feminine charms to earn people's attention, but that can only get me so far. Then, it's up to me to use my brains and cunning to get whatever I want." So what does Stacy want? "I want it all," she says confidently. "I won't be happy until everyone and everything in this business is mine for the taking. There's nothing I won't do to reach the top." Although her in-ring work to this point has been limited, she says another of her goals is to one day be Women's Champion. "I don't think it's right around the corner for me, but I definitely can be Women's Champion," she says. "When I wrap these 41-inch legs around those other girls, they don't stand a chance. I plan on using these legs to my advantage. Whatever it takes." At just 22 years old, Stacy has beauty, youth and brains on her side. And if she put al the pieces together, she could be well on her way to becoming the most dangerous Diva in WWE history. "I always said that I set out to make my mark in the industry, and I believe that I'm on my way to doing it," Stacy says. "I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Whether it's leading man into battle, aligning myself with a power player or getting the ring and mixing it up myself, I'm on my way." She pauses for a moment and flashes a conniving smile. "I guarantee it." |
